Cops Driving Academy Inc. was founded in 1995 by Doug Sorgat, an Ontario Provincial Police Officer. Since that time, "Cops" as it is locally known, has provided continuous, high quality education to thousands of our local residents. Mike Betts is the current owner of Cops Driving Academy. Mike brings an innovative and progressive approach to motor vehicle driving instruction, utilizing the latest in class and in car teaching techniques and material. Combined with Doug's foundational influence, Mike's leadership makes Cops Driving Academy an unmatched educational opportunity.
Our mission is to provide every client with a positive, respectful and unparalleled driver training experience. We are focused on producing safe and responsible drivers who are taught to drive co-operatively on our roads and highways. At Cops we have a vested interest in doing so...we are local, and our families share the same roads as our students!
Located originally in Manotick and now in the village of Osgoode, Cops Driving Academy specializes in providing MTO certified driver education courses to both young and mature adults.
